Tutoring is every Monday and Wednesday, from 3-5 p.m. for middle school students at the Oneida Nation Middle School area. Every Tuesday and Thursday for High School Students, from 3:15-5:00 p.m. at the ONHS. |
The after school tutoring program has gotten off to a late start this year, but it is now in full effect. We have had some great participation at the middle school. Most of the students in the middle school tutoring have improved their grades. They are currently learning how to make Iroquois pottery when they finish their home work. February 1st is when they take a trip to Ski Brule as an incentive for all their hard work! The High School tutoring program also has many students in attendance. |

All students who are passing classes and attending school regularly will also be able to attend a ski trip in February. Thanks to Lynn Adrian, Toni Osterberg, Michelle Erickson and Carol Johnson for all their hard work in organizing and tutoring the Youth!

Nine of the students were given the opportunity to perform for the christening of the U.S. Navy Vessel ‘Mesa Verde’ in Florida. The nine that were chosen were students who had good attendance, weren’t failing any classes, and outstanding performance in class.
