Cheryl Stevens: Head Basketball Coach
Cheryl has been Head Coach of the girls basketball for the past 4 seasons.
She has over 22 years of coaching experience in various activities and
capacities as listed below.
-avid volunteer coach in basketball, volleyball, and pompons.
-head coach for Badger State girls basketball and volleyball teams.
-head coach during Indigenous Games for girls volleyball.
-assisted in many basketball camps since 1986.
-Woman's Assistant Volleyball Coach in 1987 at the UW-Barron County in Rice
Lake.
-worked for the Oneida Tribe for almost 17 years and is currently the Grants
Office Director for the past 13 years.
Cheryl is married to Ernie Stevens, Jr. and they have 5 children ages 18 -
28. They are a very athletic family and avid basketball players. They have
played basketball in numerous all-Indian tournaments across the country for
the past 22 years and have both been members of all-Indian NIAA Championship
teams, as well as their children. Three of their children have been
recruited and/or obtained scholarships to play collegiate basketball.
